sync gopro and phantom GPS

Is there anyway to use the GPS from the phantom as positions for my photos from my gopro (which has no GPS).

I have done some extensive research on this, and the answer is no, there is no way to get the phantom GPS to embed into video or photo metadata taken by the gopro. That said, I ended up purchasing one of these units, a Flytrex core 2, and it logged GPS co-ordinates on a separate microSD card.

As gruvpix indicated, I think the only way is to log GPS and sync time to the video.
