Hello all!

Just purchased an iPad mini 4 to fly my P3S and am still not real happy with the display. I’ve tried the three sided shades on my iPad 2 but don’t think they work at all.

Somewhere on here, I saw a 4 sided shade that owners spoke highly about.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi array. I made my own shade from black cardboard. Must have a top section , fold down from back which covers 2/3 of top or cut curve on front edge. Most light on the screen comes in from top.

The key to having a sun shade that actually works is the sun shade roof has to be at a less than 90 degree angle to the screen. These guys have shades for different tablets, but I recommend only purchasing one in their "glare buster" configuration -- which uses such an angle. Check out the video in this post as well as my angle demo post immediately after it.

A simply amazing must have...

I am cheap so...
Granola Box sunshade!
Step 1 - eat granola bars
Step 2 - use liberal amount of DuctTape
Step 3 - use ball cap to prevent glare from bald head :D

*probably works as well as any out there other than a complete hood*
