Sport mode scary as hell, normal?

Just got my P4 today. I found "P" mode to be slow compared to my P3P. So I popped it in "S" mode and it started jetting. I loved the speed but once I tried a quick U I lost video feed and once it came back I noticed the P4 dropping altitude by A LOT! Which scared the crap out of, so I quickly hit the Home button. It took back control gained altitude to my set point at 55meters and slowly made its way back home. At first, I thought the worst, a prop failure as I never had this happened with my P3P. Checked the props and everything seemed A O K.

Turn off object avoidance and the speeds should be the same as the P3

The slight drop in altitude when coming to a hover that everyone is talking about could very well be caused by the loss of ETL and the P4's inability to compensate for it. Just throwing that out there.
