Show off your Phantom 3 Videos

Have a good fly everyone...!

I just bought my P3P yesterday and gave it a go in the evening.

It's all exciting but the image was a bit shaky in the air so I needed to use youtube stabilisation tool to smoothen it a bit (don't know if wind, propellers or not updated software could have been the shake cause?)...

Let me know if you like my maiden 30 seconds flying Phantom experience:

It does look a bit soft almost like you haven't removed the plastic film from the lens?
Some jittery videos were due to leaving a piece of foam packaging behind the gimbal, but it doesn't look that bad!

Received my P3A Memorial Day weekend and this is my first cut.

5 minute video-

Lens plastic was removed but I need to check the gimbal indeed - that could be the reason. Don't remember removing any foam packaging - apart from plastic protection from it... thanks for a tip!

What do you guys suggest for video editing on a Mac?
How do you transfer videos the most efficient way?

In this video we show how I didn't quite make it back to the home point

I know a few things....

One I didn't pay close enough attention to the exposure. Two I've somehow got a smudge on the right that really annoyed me. Three I should wear a hat when flying as nothing highlights my baldness more than aerial footage...

Apart from that it was a nice afternoon a week or so ago.

I still have nothing worth posting, but OMG how stable is the P3? On play back - I had it about 100ft and if it wasnt for the odd car going past I would've thought the video had frozen

Just need to find the sweet spot with the settings.

Here's a video of our club's recent rocket launch which I made using my P3P and some stills shot from the ground.

I found the video from the P3 to be much better than from my P2V/RotorPixel. Because of not having to stabilize any of the video in post, it took about half the time to create than it would have take if I had used the P2V.

This is the result of my first time ever shooting or editing video. No post production and simple enough, but I quite like it. When I learn more about filming and editing properly I will be back!

These videos look great, what do you guys use to edit the videos where you get different shots all on one movie?

Hey all

1st post on here, I've done 4 test flights and a few days ago I felt confident enough to take it out over our local river. Quite an adrenaline rush flying it UNDER our local landmark bridge!!!

All comments welcome...
