I've just been outside timing my flighttime with the FC40 and it's abysmall.
I'm running a FC40 with a Walkera G2D gimbal with FC40 camera and Mobius camera attached. Basically 5g lighter than adding a gopro.
It's got the Vision props and Vision prop guards and I'm getting a whopping 4mins flight time out of it. I used to get ~8 mins.
Yesterday I set the low voltage cut off to 11.15/11.0 and calibrated the voltage which was pretty much spot on anyway.
After 3 flights with three batteries each battery came off at 11.5v after a matter of seconds.
Do I need to increase the 0.6v voltage drop for load?
What else could be the issue?
- for clairty the quad has 2 x 5g packs of sugru on it for attaching cameras, flytrex and front led so minimal weight added.
---- EDIT ----
Seems like I need to double check my settings before flying. The voltage was set to 11.15 (1) and 11.0 (2) for low voltage with voltage drop of 0.0v.
If the voltage drop on load is 0.6v or so then I guess a resting voltage of 11.5v is okay after a flight that shows me 11.5v on rest as I'd guess (thinking out loud here)
11.5v resting - 0.6v drop not set = 10.9v which could represent the 11.0v auto land kicking in.
Maybe i'm just being a little bit special.
