Hi everyone,
For those who couldn't figure out to stop the moving of the camera/gimbal in each angle, this is the solution I found: after mounting and installing the linear potentiometer, then you have to calibrate the X1 port with RC Assistant software from DJI; that means to connect RC with computer through microUSB of RC (inside the RC for 1 and 1.1.1 DJI Phantom versions) and outside micro USB port for P2. After calibration with RC Assistant, then calibrate the RC with Naza software, including the X1 port for gimbal in Basic-RC section of the software. This worked for me (DJI Phantom FC40). Also, I think any simple kind and cheap between 1- 5k linear potentiometer will work fine. Hope this will help. Cheers and fly safe!

for me I had to set the manual speed to 99 instead of 100
no idea how that worked, but it did
