Hi all. I recently purchased a brand new Phantom 3 Standard from a friend that had never been setup or activated. I power the rc and the aircraft on and can connect to the WiFi. I get no leds on the aircraft and it just beeps continually. Any ideas? It let's me into the camera view, but have no control and I have never been given a prompt to activate the unit.

Was it still sealed in the box when you received it? If not, why did your friend open it and what did she do after she opened it?

The box was open, but she says that it was never activated or even turned on. Was going to give it to her son, but it was way too advanced.

When exactly did the aircraft start beeping? Did that start happening as soon as you powered on the Phantom the first time? Or, did you do something prior to that occurring?
From the first time I powered it on it has beeped. It cycles the gimbal and 2 of the rotors twitch, then it just beeps like a smoke alarms. No LEDS on the arms and in the camera view it's like it doesn't recognize that the aircraft is linked. I've relinked the rc twice and both show as successful.
