S7 Edge rebooting

Preparing for my first flight of my new P4P I connected my S7 Edge up to my controller. After a few seconds the phone did a reboot without being told too. Tried it again and same thing except it may have last a few seconds longer before phone rebooted. Tried a couple more times and once it stayed connected for 3 minutes, then rebooted. I unplugged everything and put it all back in case before being temped to smashing it with a sledge hammer.

Is there a known reason for the phone to reboot after connecting to controller? Has anyone else had or heard of this happening to anyone else?

Search the forums, I think I saw one other post that had near instant reboots. From a general troubleshooting standpoint: I would suggest trying a different USB cable as a first step to eliminate easy things. After that, try searching for an apk of an older version of DJI Go and see if the issue persists.
