Hi All,
I was flying my drone off a cliff today and wondering, if I set my RTH at 100' and fly off a 325' cliff above the sea, will my drone (Mavic) return to home:
a) at 425' (above the FAA max alititude)
b) at 400' max altitude (and crash into trees)
c) at 100' above the sea and crash into the cliff
???
Thanks!

When you fly over the cliff, the current altitude in DJI GO will remain the same. When RTH is initiated, your Phantom will ascend from the current altitude displayed in DJI GO up to the RTH altitude before returning to the home point.

Two things to consider.
Your drone has no way to tell what is below it. It can't tell if it is above the clifftop or above a 300 ft drop.
The only height it knows is home = zero.
For the drone, all heights are relative to home point.
