I don’t know the airline nor if you are asking a question or just making a comment. My comment is a suggestion - ask them a different question ie if you place your drone in checked in luggage, and only carry batteries in your carried luggage, (as you must for every other major airline) would they accept that. I’m assuming they said no for safety reasons, (do you know why?) - helping and assuring them of your safety compliance intentions may assist.
