No need for checking with 3rd party app. Just let the aircraft warm up and after starting prop rotation check on a phone or tablet under wi-fi for the RID broadcast identifier.

Yes, you have to update the firmware for the RID broadcast identifier number to show up under wi-fi on your phone or tablet.
I have a P4Pv2. I completed the firmware updates as follows:
- Aircraft & Controller are at v01.00.7017
- DJI Go 4 is at v4.3.60
When start up and connect everything, I do not see any indication that the RID is working either in the Go 4 app or a Wi-fi listing.
Has anyone else run across this so as to be able to point me in the right direction as what my next steps would be in this verification process?
