Hi new to this. Got a phantom 2 vision + from a mate. He said it was working but had i issue wir h battery and remote. He got a new controller and battery but i cant get the motors to turn. It seems to be sincing fine. When i calibrate the gps its all good then get two green flashes then four red. Help please.

So your saying that its binding with the remote, but it won't start? Are you getting the beep beep beep sound when you turn on the battery? Does your camera move when you turn the left dial on the remote?

Make sure when you calibrate, to move the sticks in all directions and don't forget all the way down past the throttle lock.

Ok, try this:

Calibrate Vision + V3 Controller Without The Assistant Software
(No Software Process, does not use RC System Assistant or Phantom 2 Vision Assistant)
1) Set switch S2 at the OFF position; Switch S1 at the GPS position
2) Push both the THROTTLE and PITCH stick to the top position and hold them there.
3) Turn on the POWER switch. You should hear the indicator sound of "Beep--Bee Beep" from the V3 Controller repeatedly.
-> Toggle switch S2 into the CL position, you should hear an indicator sound of "Beep" from the V3 Controller, in this case the V3 Controller has entered the calibration mode.
(THROTTLE and PITCH stick must have been kept in the top position all during this time)
4)
Release the THROTTLE and PITCH sticks and make sure they return to the center position.
-> Toggle switch S1 to the bottom ATTI position; you should hear an indicator sound of "Beep" from the V3 Controller.
-> Move all of the sticks throughout their complete range several times.
(for those remotes equipped with a throttle lock this means complete movement through the throttle lock position)
-> Don't forget to move the GIMBAL CONTROL DIAL through it's complete range of movement as well.
-> After this, put the THROTTLE stick to the bottom position and toggle switch S2 to the HL position, you should hear an indicator sound of "Beep" from the V3 Controller.
In this case the transmitter has been calibrated successfully!

Ok

After you calibrate the remote do this:
To Link Remote to Phantom
( turn Phantom craft on ONLY ( NO PROPS ) DO NOT TURN ON THE REMOTE
then turn craft over and find
Small red led ( on belly of craft )
Is your linking button ( it is used to link to your Tx )
Press and hold red button until it turns yellow
Then turn Tx on it should link to craft. And light should turn off.
Unless your receiver is damaged?

You have been a fountain of knowledge. Thanks. Just running kuds about and will try soon

So what are the symptoms? Camera moves up and down. You have green and red lights when you turn it on. It's just not starting? Try moving the sticks to the bottom corners there is more than one way to start.

Did you try different ways to start it? What is the GHz of the transmitter? It should be 5.728-5.85GHz. Model:NPVT581.
