Greetings,
Any recommendations for securing a Remote ID Unit for the phantom 3 Pro that meets FFA requirements?
Thanks in advance,

Ruko is also selling them directly for $27 shipped. Excellent price. The one I bought for a P4P V1 a couple months ago has worked well.

Ruko is also selling them for $27 shipped here on Amazon. While their listing shows a higher price, they have a coupon that auto applies and brings the price down to $27.

Ah.. Missed that when I first looked. Just saw the $52. Remembered I paid around $40 and thought I'd help save the guy some cash and did a quick search. I'd go through Amazon, quick shipping, etc..

Not bad! I paid $70 for my Holy Stone back when it was first released.

Personally, easier and safer to not apply it at all. I don't need to deal with the Karen & Kevin's of this world.

Easier doesn't always mean better/smarter.

Failing to comply with the Remote ID requirements when flying a drone can result in civil penalties of up to $27,500. If the violation is considered criminal, fines can go up to $250,000 and may include imprisonment for up to three years.

These penalties are enforced by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under the authority of 14 CFR Part 89, which outlines the rules for Remote ID compliance. The severity of the fine or penalty often depends on factors like intent, frequency of the violation, and any safety risks posed during the flight.

I'll choose not to buy as I fly safely in an area that the FAA has no realistic business, thank you very much.

You're free to make your own choices, but it's not wise to encourage others to knowingly break the law. That said, if you do choose to break the law, it's probably best not to mention it in a public forum like this.
