How do I go about registering my device through FAA so I may fly legally?

Thanks. Now after reading it says, can not fly over 400 feet. So if I want to fly more than 400 feet and not in visible eye, is there another type of registration?

Flying below 400 feet AGL is a guideline/recommendation (and a great idea). Flying within visual sight is the law. There is no way to get around the FAA since they control all of the airspace in the US.
