The video files will always split at 4 GB. There is no way to record videos that exceed that length to a single file.

Actually it depends on how your flash card is formatted. Larger cards come as exFAT and you can record much larger files than 4gb.

You will likely find that isn’t true. It’s not a file system limitation in this case.

I had an issue with some concert footage from a camcorder - every time a new file was started, a frame or two would drop, spoiling the experience. There are Windows command line utilities that can merge the files, and this seemed to fix my problem.
