I'm looking for recommendations on a good sunshade that works well with the iPad Air 2. I am in the states(Texas) and looking for something rather quick and easy to order.

Are the one's you find on Amazon/ebay any good? What would you recommend for the iPad Air 2....

Yes, I've looked here - https://www.phantomhelp.com/#AccessoriesP3
I'm just curious as to what others have found that works well.... or is worth the investment, and that's not back-ordered, or will take a month to get waiting for shipping.

Thank you for your help.

I have tried 6 different ones including the summit for ipad ,the padhat, and many others ranging in price from 15.00 - 45.00
I actually had this companies first version of product but it was to shallow and a little to thick in the center for holder.
The link provided is there new version and I give it a 9 out of 10 the only

Yeah that one looks pretty nice. I see the new version is a little longer. May look into ordering one.

How long did it take to get yours?...their eBay link says "Estimated between Tue. Jun. 30 and Tue. Aug. 4"....seems kinda ridiculous really.

Also...the fine print at the bottom...haha! .."you can have another chance to choose a much faster and safer courier:By paying $35 extra"

How much does it weigh? I have a naked iPad Air 2 and would like to minimize the amount of extra weight I'm adding to the controller. I'm debating whether to make my own out of foam board and black duct tape or buy.

don't have a gram scale but basically vinyl covered cardboard so, not heavy

Yes, the PadHat works great. I have it on my Mini 2. Quick setup and removal. http://www.hoodivision.com/#!uav-drones/c9e9
The only problem with this is that you have to permanently attach Velcro to the back of your iPad which doesn't look or feel great when you are using your iPad outside of piloting.

**edit** I just re read the PadHat description and see that you can actually hold down the sides using the "nano tabs" and that Velcro is only for extreme situations. How well do these nano tabs work in 15mph winds? Do they hold the sides down?

The padhat for ipad sucks its to big and sides fold down due to weight and in any wind at all stickes come loose so Velcro is needed much better options out there

I have the Summitlink shade from Amazon. It's OK I guess, but does have it's minor annoyances. It fits well onto the remote which is a plus, but it's bigger than it needs to be when folded. It can also be adjusted to lower the hood if desired. My biggest gripe is cable management, which can be finicky. Overall I'm satisfied with it and don't plan on replacing it.

get this one you will love it fits ipad air perfect and not as big when folded as I have both and this is my choice and its fits in my tradecraft case

I look at all those hoods with the 90 degree angle and wonder, do you fly only when the sun is in front of you, or off to either side?! They look worthless for when the sun is overhead! I like the 70 degree angle of the PadHat, it blocks so much more sun! Although, I have not used any of those to know firsthand.

How does this one hold on the bottom where the bottom of the iPad Air 2 sits on the shade and in the holder on the remote? Can you please take a pic of the bottom of this shade? Thanks again. I think i'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this one.
