Recommendation for 12-year-old?

HI all,

This may be off topic a bit, but a co-worker came in and asked me for a recommendation for a quadcopter he can keep at his house, but let his 12-year-old grandson use when he visits. He says video capability is not as important as maneuverability (but still wants video ability)... and he'd like to spend maybe $250 to $400 max.

I only know what I have (Phantoms), so I told him I'd ask the group.

Any suggestions?

Spark is $499 without the RC so still a bit out of the price range, it is pretty durable though. If looking for a cheaper but still stable version Hubsan makes a few nice ones: H501S HIGH EDITION
