I use this - http://www.shapeways.com/model/1644897/ ... d=17226227 but have also used a wide rubber band with great success.

I'm thinking 2 round or square dots on the back of the gopro and zenmuse. 99 cents stores have a package and can be affixed by the peeling off the sticky backing??? I am thinking of going this route if no one post any negatives on this approach.
I've tried to do a search of but didn't find anything posted in 10+ pages of searching of key words gopro quick release.

Man... that's a lot of $$ to have held on by velcro. That said - I would also point out that the self adhesive on velcro can often be affected by heat (meaning the adhesive loses it's grip in high temperatures) - so I would definitely stay away from dollar store stuff.
Maybe look into those velcro straps that are used to keep Lipo's fastened to Heli's in conjunction with velcro on the back?
