Has anyone else had a prop completely shear off in flight?
I had mine out today, flying with relatively new, balanced OEM props. It was about 12 feet high hovering over a parking lot, threw off half of a prop, and augured in pretty fast. It actually tried to recover, but I suspect the low altitude didn't give it enough room. Sucked that it was over concrete, but I guess not as much as it could have - I tend to fly high and far out. Prop blade came off right between the rotation arrow and the little DJI logo.
My actual question: Are any of you replacing props on a schedule... ie, do they have a known lifespan?
Side note... I get the following error attaching photos today: "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."
