1. Why did this work and then stop ?
2. Is board, camera and gimbal ALL required to connect to Litchi and
DJI GO ?
I took a P3P with damaged camera and removed the camera gimbal and board.
in it's place I mounted a Flir for search and rescue. I used Litchi to program flights in rows so I wouldn't miss any territory. After a long period of inactivity where nothing was changed it is """DISCONNECTED""" from both Litchi and DJI GO. I figured it must be an update issue, but that's not the case. Very confusing. Tried changing the firmware including custom firmware that fixes ""DISCONNECTED"" issue, but it wouldn't update. Didn't seem logical, but I plugged in a different gimbal board and camera and it connects to Litchi.
I can mount the Flir and it's radio with the gimbal board in place but not the camera. Do I need both to get
connected ? I don't want to take apart a perfectly good camera/ gimbal / board to test this. Thanks in advance.

I'm not going to be any help on the Flir part, I would love to play with one.

Summary?
Nothing had changed since the last time you used it?
Mobile Device, still the same model?

I'm sure others would also wonder what mobile device you are using.
@DJ Wes , any thoughts?

Litchi and DJI both work with my devices on another P3P with camera attached.
Don't want to remove that working camera to test Litchi.

When Litchi worked without camera, I would often have to unplug and replug the usb cable as the appeared on devices as a battery charger. Have since altered usb setting on devices to "" file transfer"" or other settings that seemed appropriate.
