Problem with Gimbal Auto-calibration

I've been trying to run Gimbal Auto-calibration on my Phantom 4 Pro drone because the gimbal leveling seemed a little off during a recent landing.

I've tried to run the Gimbal Auto-calibration 4 times now, and it always gets stuck at 50% no matter how long I let it run. Shutting off the auto-calibration before it completed made things much worse, and now I'm getting Gimbal error messages during flights.

Does anyone know how to fix this? My drone has never crashed, and the gimbal has not been damaged in any way.

Thanks.

There was mention somewhere of nudging the bird half an inch after it sits on 50% for a while to get it to continue the calibration after a few more minutes ...

Another term for the drone or aircraft itself.
