The IOS .ipa file is actually the app.

Saving the current .ipa should help you downgrade the Go! app back to the DJI Pilot app in the event you don't like for whatever reason.

These are Apple ID specific so tuck yours in a safe spot.

How do you get the .ipa file? My iPad auto updated buy my iphone hadn't updated before I switched off the auto-update feature.

The easiest way is to search for .ipa in Spotlight and select show in Finder. Copy it and then paste it in a safe place.
