Phantom4pro v2 controller battery won’t stay charged

The controller battery for my phantom 4pro v2 charges to full but if left unused for a few days it dicharges completely. Do I need a new battery?

Open a repair ticket with DJI, fast friendly service. Not expensive either, they cover shipping both ways.

Mine had to go back to DJI, not cheap in Oz. bit of a racket me thinks user unable to replace a battery....

Hey! That sounds like a typical issue with lithium-ion batteries. If the battery charges fully but discharges quickly, it might be a sign that it's losing its ability to hold a charge. Try resetting the controller and charging it again. If the problem persists, I think a new battery would be the best solution.Also, remember not to store the battery fully charged or completely drained for long periods. I had the same problem, left mine alone for too long. Sent it to DJI SoCal and they replaced the battery. Works great.....
