Please be patient with me, as I'm a novice at the modification of a Phantom.

I have a Phantom 1. I'm getting the Zenmuse for the Phantom 1 with the GCU, and currently have the PMU for it.

My question is this; Can I add the mini iOSD (original version) to the setup without a Can-Bus Hub?

I appreciate the video, but that's for a Phantom 2. I have a Phantom 1 with a Zenmuse, and iOSD Mini.

I'm hearing I can avoid the Can-Bus hub and just daisy chain the IOSD in between the CGU and PMU.

The Mini iOSD have a can bus port on it. So fitting one will still mean you have just as many ports as before.

So regardless of your set up, you can add a iOSD mini without lossing a can bus port.

There is a way to add the can bus to the phantom 1. There is some soldering and peeling off some contacts and making some cables. I found the video on YouTube. Do some searches
