Phantom not connecting

Hi everyone,haven't flown since before Xmas. Went out today to practice, nothing will connect. Couldn't calibrate or anything. Had message come up at start about fly safe etc...but still nothing. Turned everything on off etc...I heard last year about dji implementing a test...is this true....
