Phantom 3SE USB PORT

Has any one ever needed to use the USB port on the craft. According to the manual it should be used to recall flight data. It says to plug the aircraft to the PC and then launch dji go app and nothing more. But the app is on the mobile phone not the pc . I didn’t get it.

You can retrieve the internal DAT flight logs from the Phantom like this.

Can I take power supply from that point to run my non-gimbal, non-go pro camera?
