Ok. (The main light on the RC should be green also)......and once the bird has completed warming up, the front LED lights should be solid red, and the rear LED lights should be blinking green. It's been linked but... It doesn't fly
It wants to Activate the drone and every time I get to that point it says to fails to activate and I can't go any further.Ok. Can you fill us in on what you see on the GoApp?.......like 'Ready to Fly', number of satellites, battery power levels, etc......
Any other info you can provide will give us an idea of the drones status.

Where did you go?
Also where did you buy your batteries?
I really haven't flown much for 5 years, I got 10 batteries, well I don't trust them. Had charged them once a month for the last few years, there discharge time was 10 days. I watched a instruction video on uBoob. I still have to think which lever does what.

Just turning on the RCI I don't see a wifi signal, only when the drone is powered onWelcome to the forum!
DO NOT mess with the firmware at this time.
Quick question, just turn the remote on.
Any mobile device will pickup the WiFi signal from the remote, the SSID can be changed, but you should see something.
Your mobile device will see it but won't be able to connect yet.
On the P3S the mobile devices do not use a cord, only WiFi.
There are different P3S models, like P3SE.
I will send you a few other links soon.

are you located in Oregon? I'm in Washington State.Just turning on the RCI I don't see a wifi signal, only when the drone is powered on
I tried the RC again and my Phone sees the WiFi, as does the Drone itself when it is turned on by itself. Both items are not seen in My wifi when they are turned off which is normal.are you located in Oregon? I'm in Washington State.
