Phantom 3 Standard

It's been linked but... It doesn't fly
Ok. (The main light on the RC should be green also)......and once the bird has completed warming up, the front LED lights should be solid red, and the rear LED lights should be blinking green.

Can you fill us in on what you see on the GoApp?.......like 'Ready to Fly', number of satellites, battery power levels, etc......

Any other info you can provide will give us an idea of the drones status.

Yes!!
Now we got a direction of travel.

Captain High.
Has the best question at the moment.

Addition when the Bird is powered on, should be 4 beeps.
Each beep is actually coming from each motor. YES REALLY!

FIRMWARE?
In my Signature.
"P3S => Fly-it or Fryware-it (Rod)"

P3S, Fly It or Fry it with Firmware.

@Candoman62 ....

If you are doing any bench testing INSIDE, be sure to take the props off the drone. It is simple......2 are clockwise, 2 are counter-clockwise. With props off you can test startup and takeoff procedures without the drone jumping up and chasing you across the room. Plus, if you get nicked by a spinning prop, it hurts like h*ll. (Don't ask how I know that)......

Since it is linked now, we need more info why it won't fly. Any info that you can pass along would be great.

Where did you go?
Also where did you buy your batteries?

I really haven't flown much for 5 years, I got 10 batteries, well I don't trust them. Had charged them once a month for the last few years, there discharge time was 10 days. I watched a instruction video on uBoob. I still have to think which lever does what. :rolleyes:đź‘Ś

It wants to Activate the drone and every time I get to that point it says to fails to activate and I can't go any further.

I turned the RC on and then the drone, all the lights are on as you described them.

Now I'm waiting for DJI to give me a code to login to DJI Go.

If the link light is green on the bird and the remote you should be able to start the motors.
Also whats the light pattern on the front and back by the props?

I don't understand why you need a code to activate for DJI Go.

At the moment all I remember is all you need is an account with DJI. Your name, email, stuff.

I guess I'm using the same account P2V+, from Feb 2015?
Since then
P3S
P3A New.
P3A Used
P3A Used (Bad motor as of March 2025)
P3A Used.(Afraid of the batteries) April 2025.
MM1 New (Oct 2019)? I think.

The only thing I can think of, that birds mac address is already registered with DJI?
But, I thought that was the newer stuff?

Any members got other intel. :)đź‘Ś

So, the bird and RC are linked.

Is the GoApp linked by wifi to the RC? .....if so,

What does the GoApp screen show..'Disconnected' or 'Ready to Fly'?

When you say "It" wants to activate the drone.....what is "IT"?

Welcome to the forum!

DO NOT mess with the firmware at this time.

Quick question, just turn the remote on.
Any mobile device will pickup the WiFi signal from the remote, the SSID can be changed, but you should see something.
Your mobile device will see it but won't be able to connect yet.
On the P3S the mobile devices do not use a cord, only WiFi.

There are different P3S models, like P3SE.
I will send you a few other links soon.

#1 We need the first question answered.
We?, can be 10 of us members, wanting to help.

Just turning on the RCI I don't see a wifi signal, only when the drone is powered on
