hello there I have the phantom 3 standard, when I am flying, if I want to put it in follow me mode do I have to keep the switch 1 on the controller all the way down the whole time I am in follow me mode or not, and what height is good to be in for follow me mode, just want to be safe, new to phantom 3 thanks for any advice.

Not sure with the standard but best advice to new pilots. Go to a huge open field to test your bird and it's functions out.. height depends on where you are and obstacles your flying over obviously.

I have never tried follow me, but I have had to follow it and find it.
