Phantom 3 Pro Controller Issues

Hi!
I just got a phantom 3 pro (used).
As I was trying to update the RC firmware my phone died and it screwed up my RC. Now it won't connect to the drone (Drone status light showing flashing yellow, RC status showing green?) I tried to reset the controller but pressing C1/C1+shutter did nothing (no noise no sound nothing). I also tried to manually pair it with the drone but that didn't work either (same issue, no noise from RC). I would have just updated the firmware from the app but I cannot get it to go to the camera, it's just telling me how to connect the drone. The RC is charging and otherwise turns on normally. The USB port is also not damaged as my phone is able to 'charge' from it. I am at a loss for what to do as I have already searched up info about this.
Please let me know if you need any other information.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You've already learned the 1st lesson with drones, Phantoms especially..never update firmware unless absolutely required. Which means almost never, it usually causes far more trouble than fixes..you're now seeing first hand. Note: P3 models require a fan blowing on the camera/gimble area during firmware update to stop overheating damage..a common expensive mistake.
As for fixes, others with more knowledge should be along shortly to help you get squared away. Hope to hear back soon that you're up and flying.

Agree. Firmware updates are best ignored, especially when the bird flies great with no issues.

@SonuP3 :....
Hopefully a member with experience in resetting a R/C back to factory specs will chime in and offer a solution. Good luck.

As pointed out its never a good idea, that said there is more than one way to skin a cat/horse etc, you can put the upgrade file on a USB stick and insert it into the controller, it may not take the upgrade though if it thinks its on the same version so what you can do is get the next lowest version and put that on it, you will need a debug file all info can be found at this link

I used google translate so I'm not sure how accurate it is but gl.

Forgive my ignorance, what is the "non-graduation method"?
Sorry I hadn't realized that there was another question.

No need to feel ignorant I was confused too.
If you have not found a solution yet the method is this:

------------
Manual Method
(Found on RC Firmware config · Issue #10 · mefistotelis/phantom-firmware-tools · GitHub by aka1ceman)
Turn on RC, Plug in Tablet, start DJI Go (I used 2.4.2)
Touch and hold top right corner of screen for 5-10 seconds. (tutorial button thanks to Inspire guys)
New screen opens offering to downgrade RC. (I was offered 1.6 and 1.5.8)
Download but do not install.
Using file explorer replace and rename file
I used RC file for 1.3.2 and renamed, and replaced the existing 1.5 file.
Go back to DJI Go app and finish install. It will finish installing. It did install for me although renaming may not be the safest way. Hope this helps.

(from the forum)
----------------

It does not matter if you have the drone set up or not, just touch and hold the top right menu icon. When you let go it will begin. I didn't have to do any of the weird renaming stuff but I just downgraded and then upgraded. I think I screwed up when I paused the initial upgrade when I first got it. The graduation method is when you use a usb to directly flash the update to the controller/drone itself. It's a bit more wonky and you have to do it correctly.

Good luck and please feel free to ask any other question or follow up. Have a great day!

Grazie.

Instead of 1.11.30 this one will work, make sure you use a fan when downgrading here is the link: Dropbox
