Phantom 3 Official Hardshell is just... bad...

Let me be a little more clear:

the outer hardshell is awesome, I dig it.

But oh my, the quality of the inner sponge is just absolutely disgusting. Little pieces of the sponge always drop when I carefully slide in and out the P3, or the remote... and they break wayyyy to easily. Anybody feels the same? Thank god I got it for free. If I paid for this, I would have been more pissed :/

Depending on what shell, you can order a different liner from a better insert manufacturer. It's one of the main reasons that I bought a Drone Crates box, they have a good quality covering over nice and tight closed cell foam. They are sending me a new inner section for mine because of a manufacturers defect and if you give the dimensions to the people that you want to buy from, they will make you a nice new liner.
