Phantom 3 bugs....

What color is the link status light on the remote, and the link light near the link button on the phantom?

Fixed it. Works great and no issue with distance.

I formatted the SD card. Loaded the new firmware on it. Uploaded it via the SD card. Reconnected the GOApp it was showing needed the same update. Did the update via GoApp and restarted both the RC and AC. Took it outside and all is fine. Flew it out of site at 350' air. No issues with signal.

Was the start of the problem must have been the module in the remote.....??

I honestly think it was a combination of things. Self imposed and this firmware. But i'll probably never know. lol

Green light on remote just means you have wifi link from aircraft to remote, which you know anyway because you have video. ;-)
It does sound like you have a 5.8Ghz link error.
very likely the 5.8Ghz module in the remote. can you try another remote?
