Hello everyone, I have a Phantom 3 4k and I had someone step on my drone and broke the landing gear 😞 (probably a few other things unsure ) so i couldn't afford the new part at the time so I put it on the shelve well about a year later today I tried to get it going again and a no positioning sensor came up along with a GPS unconnected and the one motor will not spin any help would be amazing
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Note : If the drone says a firmware update is available, DO NOT update the firmware. Firmware updates can cause more harm than good.......especially since the Phantom 3 Series is NO LONGER supported by DJI.

Depending on the extent of the damage, and the extended amount of time being inactive, a few simple steps may solve some issues.

Try doing a IMU calibration, along with a compass calibration second, and do a full restart and power up after. Let us know what the results are, and if there are any warnings on the app.

Just as a reminder, any bench testing INSIDE will affect the compass and GPS readings. Compass calibrations should be done outside, away from interference like buildings and electrical sources. Also, bench testing inside should be done with the props OFF the drone.

Drone needs to be taken apart to assess the damage. This requires proper tools and fine motor skills. Instructions are available on Youtube.
