phantom 2 vision plus 3.0 shell

does anyone know if the top shell is the same from the phantom 2 to the vision plus? ive bought a vision and the ends are cracked

you sir are a hero, it come with a replacement bottom which im gonna attempt to change shortly, then i noticed the screw on the top is done so ill now chase a top, thanks for the info

You are very welcome.....hope it all works out.

Take your time swapping out everything. I'd recommend also that any bench-testing after the swap out be done with the props OFF the bird, to be safe......

exactly the same the tricky part is getting the camera wiring through the hole, if you are in the uk i have a shell in good condition

i did what you said buddy, it went smooth, span it up on the side with no blades the top is defo toast, the bits from the lugs fell out as i opened, looks like the last owner was super glue happy, ive just charged ready to have a test tomorrow, if it goes good, ill get a top shell, when it come the gimbal rubbers were toast so i've replaced them, and it powers up ok, any chance you will know a tablet or phone model i can get that will work the dji vision app(i have the apk saved ready) or do you know of a alternative

camera wires weren't bad pal, i put a dab of heat glue to keep them where i wanted why mounting the usb, im crewe cheshire, i need to give it a test first and make sure it works, but yep id be interested, is it a full shell or top? i assume no cracks and good to go? and what price buddy

The DJI Phantom 2 Vision and Vision+ require legacy mobile devices running Android 4.0 to 6.0 or iOS 6.1to 12.0 to run the discontinued DJI Vision app. Because of operating system changes, modern phones and tablets generally cannot bind to the drone’s Wi-Fi extender.
The original supported devices include:

• Apple: iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 6, and 6 Plus. (iPads and iPod Touch 5 are officially listed but not recommended due to performance issues).
• Android: Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, Note 2, and Note 3, plus legacy devices with equivalent configurations.

Other members that fly P2's may have suggestions to what devices work for them.

Im in Sale Manchester drop me an email to [email protected] and ill pass a phone number, there is a few issues with the loss of FPV that occurs with these as well as the before mentioned issues with finding a phone that will run the app, i used to repair and reshell these years back so i have lots of experience with them

ive took it out and 1 of the motors is toast, real slow and jerky motion so ive just bought another p2 for spares as goin by what you guys are saying, and a bit of reading, im prolly better with a go pro and gimble like my other p2, am i right? if so would i have to get a 2.4 trans as dont the vision run on the 5.8 network? the one i just got has a zenmuse h3-3d gimbal, dji osd, boscam 5.8 transmitter spiro net antenna, it is suppose to be mint with not a mark and pretty much as new, has a bricked battery and was less than £70 delivered, but now i'm in a bind, i have a p1, i love it, i have a p2 with the same as above but has a 2w transmitter with the boscam fpv monitor, its great, now i would eventually get the phole range, so do i just go with the p2 and use the vision for spares? look for another working vision? or is it worth the hassle reshelling and new motors to find i cant connect the original software? i know you guys have been through the motions so any advice is genuinely appreciated

yes a 2.4ghz tx is needed if using 5.8ghz fpv gear, i have the vision app available as an android apk file if needed
