Hi guys

I am new to this board and new to RC in general.

P2 will be my 1st RC toy.

I have read through all the forums djiguys.com , rcgroup , phantompilots.com etc for all the relevant information about p2 and flyaways.

I have never experienced a fly away yet and god forbid never will. I purchased a tk-102 gps tracker from ebay after a lot of recommendations from the forums.

The gps that i purchased have a magnet. I discover this when i put the tracker near my headphone and they were stuck to each other.

my question/concern is, will this magent in the gps tracker cause problems with the compass on the leg?

Thanks

Max

P.S. I still have my training wheels on, i'm still on phantom mode and not on naza mode. :)

Most tk102's come with spare battery and non-magnetic battery cover in box. Mine did at least.

On a side note: I would not use the battery cover with magnets, it will most likely mess with the phantom compass.

I agree... do not use the magnetic back. Instead use the non-magnetic back it should have come with. Magnets & compasses do not mix well.
