Because it's an earlier Phantom 3.
DJI changed the motors halfway through the production of the Phantom 3 series.
There's no detectable difference in performance.
Brushless DC motors are basically three phase motors wound either "STAR": or "DELTA" - I believe most of the ones used in drones are DELTA wound which gives you more torque.
If you look at the DELTA winding below you will see that there are three places in the motor where winding A joins B, B joins C and C joins A where two internal wires are joined together with these junctions coming out of the motor with one wire each, connectors 1, 2 & 3.
Looking at this internal wiring you can see that in STAR the voltage applied across any two connector wires passes through two windings in the motor but in the DELTA winding it only passes through one winding, thus the DELTA winding makes the motor starting torque almost double (1.73X) that of the STAR winding.
