What moreon inserted this feature, a former Dji employee that wanted revenge?
This is the stupidest feature ever, no i have even more problems leaving the skids out of the frame, goodness gracious, whats the thing with chinese and not listening to their customers, which obviously have more common sense :evil:

I really think they got lazy and copied the vision plus firmware.
I have both setups and I can tell you that it is behaving exactly like the vision +. If you leave you phantom on the ground with the props off and move the yaw sticks, you can see the gimbal+camera move. DJI mentioned in the vision + that it was designed to counter jerky yaw movements.
I think the only fix is to set to Medium FOV in the gopro but this wouldn't help if you use 2.7k/4k/wide modes.
