I've seen a few panoramas on the Panoramas thread and I was wondering what process and software you guys use. Is anyone actually mapping their flights too? Like reconstructing it in 3D? It'd be a great tool.
I meant stitching the pictures took into 3DWyattEarp said:You can map your flights in 3-D by using the Flytrex logger and exporting to a KML then viewing the trace in Google Earth.
Thanks, that's very helpful. Did you try auto desk 123D catch?aerial_justice said:my process is:
shoot 3 passes at tilts, plus 2 nadir shots (I take an extra)
convert raw in Lightroom, address large image issues (props in frame, etc.)
color correct
Auto pano giga for stitching
pano tour pro to then create a full 3d panorama, export to HTML, flash, etc.
