P4 Battery external dimensions

Can someone measure the part of the P4 battery that you would stick into the foam in a case please?

So the reason I ask is that I'm looking at a P4 case, but I have a P3. Based on your dimensions it would seem to me that the P3 batteries would fit ok in the P4 slots in the case. With the P4 battery being about the same thickness [moving to imperial] (1.6" P4 vs 1.5" P3) it's mainly the width (2.84" P4 vs 2.25" P3) where the difference would be. The slot would be a little over 1/2" too wide. It would seem the P3 battery should be secure in the P4 slot. Have you actually tried this and/or would you agree?

Sorry, I should have said that I have a P3 4K. Everything else should fit shouldn't it?
