P3s no pics

Took my p3s up today for some (would have been) great sunset shots. Was using djigo and took many shots and video. Came home and removed SD card and I stalled in computer to have no pics and only video. Looked on my tablet and went into djigo app and same. No pics, just video.
Turned aircracft on in house and took some pics and video and it worked fine.
I know I took the pics, so what could have happened?

Any reason height could play a factor. I did shoot up to 600' for some shots
. Video worked!!!

A year insight would be great.

Well you aren't old enough to have bad memory lapses. Still maybe you didn't stop recording before you tried to take a still? What is the time line on the videos? Where there any breaks?

I was running the djigo app so video does not auto on. I went up, took a ton of shots. Slid the slider over to video, pressed record. Same process in reverse to take more photos.

I feel pretty old. Lol

Where there any breaks in the video to indicate that you took some pictures. From my recollect it won't go from video to photo unless you stop the video first. But with my age, I definitely have the first problem I mentioned.

I've done it plenty of times but as I said, went up and took pics 1st. Never turned on video. Button was white.

Height makes no difference.
There's nothing that would make image files disappear.
If the images aren't on your SD card, the most likely explanation is that you didn't take any.
To find out for sure, look at the sequence of the file numbers to see if they are continuous or if there are gaps.

Make sure your computer isn't set to MP4 under file type. As JPEG is probably what your stills are.

Yes, look at the file name and numbers for missing sequence.

The only thing else that I have seen posted and has happen to me more that once. It will start reordering video, then it will stop on its own. Even though I use move to transfer my files from the Phantom to the PC, Formatting the SD card solves this. Doesn't really sound like you had the same problem, just something to try if seems to happen again.

I just had the exact thing happen to me that Rod experienced. I could take all the pics I wanted, but video would start and then stop by itself. Not sure if it could be related to your problem, but a reformat wouldn’t hurt.

Yes, I have seen the video stop problem on some threads, then it happen to me.

I have posted maybe on four threads since then, my memory says it its always been video.

How a SD card / memory stick gets corrupted?
I guess some space is been taking up that the operating system does see?

I always have my computers set to see hidden and system files so maybe its a Phantom thing.
