P3s intermittent remote connection

Last year I flew this drone over a mile out with no problems. I haven’t flown in since and took it out the other night. It had fluctuating remote signals on the screen and at a 1/4 mile out it would want to return home because of lost connection. Was flying at 400 thinking I was flying to low but it didn’t matter. Also tried flying at 3 different fields and it didn’t matter. Any input from you guys would be appreciated. Thank you

There are 2 separate radio channels in P3 Std: one for control, second for FPV. Since the drone wanted to return home, the issue must be with the control signal.

Now you should figure out whether the issue is in the drone part or RC part - try another remote.

I haven’t done anything to it since I used it last and it worked fine. Tried again today and says RC signal lost mid flight

Ended up downgrading firmware two versions and it has fixed it.
