P3a distance

Anyone performed a distance check on their p3a in the last month
Please reply if any modifications and terrain please

I've got a P3P , for flying it's the same. I have not had it up in over a month but when I do its an easy 18k out and back.

Only had mine about 1 mile away, signal etc still strong.

1.3 miles is my best need open ground no thickets of trees or anything to go further but it is supposed to be line of sight though, maybe when high up in hills might be better distance...
