P3 Advanced RC with P4Pro?

Just got a new P4Pro - have been flying the P3A with the HDMI-out board installed on the P3A RC.
Tried linking the existing P3A RC with the P4P but failed - repeatedly.
Looks like the current FW versions of the P3A RC and the new P4P RC are completely different.
Now the question: Can the P3A RC be programmed / appropriate FW loaded to control both the P3A/P4P or am I stuck with 2 separate controllers (and having to move the HDMI board assuming it's compatible with the P4P RC)?

No.

Yes. And the HDMI Output Module is compatible with the P4P remote controller.
