P2V+ - can I replace original GPS by Ublox M8N ???

I'm trying to connect the GPS board (uBlox NEO-6Q) from my Phantom 2 Vision Plus to the computer to test GPS signal after replacing a broken patch antenna, but it cannot communicate thru the uCenter v23.08 software, nothing appears there.

If I open the com port directly on a terminal software I can see lots of data, seems in binary format... why doesn't the uCenter software detects the NEO-6Q module correct ? i've tried all baudrates possible.

This is a cool thread but it was 2016.
I really don't think I had seen it.
Thanks.

I always wonder why there is a deleted member on the informative threads?
Anyways I lost my P2V+ in July 2015.

I can't help at the moment. I remember "j dot" knowing a lot of stuff.

Shows last seen 2021?

Rod ..

Hi, thanks for the reply. The problem was that I was trying to feed "Naza" data directly into the uBlox software, which of course would not work. (I was connecting the cable that goes from the gps to the main pcb)

So now I directly connected the UART converter intercepting the TX pin of the GPS in the PCB, before converting to NAZA and now uBlox software can log the data.

Thanks
