Only 1km out and return. Got back with 12% of battery after the wind picked up. A bit of a trap for the unwary. :)

yes, particularly when you watch the battery life slide. it's as if someone opened the left hand door and the gauge fell on to the street. :)

Nice video, I have a unrelated question though, I know there are several places around Portland where you can see Mt Hood from eye sight, Just wondering If the Phantom could pick it up or is it just to far away to see with the camera?

Look at the ones that are at cloud cap.

I have recently found out you can adjust the camera to go up higher.

It can be seen in distance from my immediate area, need to drive closer to really get in frame.

Used 4 batteries one after another, edited video does not show climbing or decending.
