Original Zenmuse H3-2D on Phantom 2

Hi Guys,

I've got a Phantom 2 and just bought a Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal for it but I have bought the original one instead of the one for the Phantom 2? Will this mount in the same way as the one designed for the Phantom 2? Do I just not use the GCU that came in the box?

Also will I need to update the firmware on the Zenmuse and if so how do I connect to it as the USB port for firmware is on the GCU?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

no need for the GCU. connect and update through the P2 usb port. sell the GCU to someone on here who wants a new H3-3D on a P1.
