Original P2 conversion for H3-3D

While waiting for my H3-3D to arrive (supposed to be today) I thought I would share some pictures of modifying my P2 shell in preparation for the gimbal.


Masked and marked out.

Drilled along the line.

Cut out with a sharp knife.

Cleaned up further.

Sanded to finish.

Doesn't look too bad!

This took 10mins, with a trip to the shop to buy a saw would have been an hour.

That was pretty "ballsy" considering you didn't have the gimbal yet. I was tempted also but wait and glad I did because hole is closer to rear mounting screws than front by milimeters and not exactly in center.
