No P4P manual focus on iPhone?

Haven't flown yet (bad weather), but I've been setting up my P4P (which came with a poorly-installed camera ribbon cable)...

I see that I can focus manually with my iPad, but not my iPhone 6s...the focus slider never shows up (yes, I have manual focus enabled).

Thoughts?

Tried deleting DJI Go 4 app off my phone and reinstalling. No dice. Anyone else have an iPhone and an iPad to test?

I know users with iPhone 7s can't manually focus. But I have used a iPad 9.7 pro without issue. Sounds software related to me. Might have to wait, sorry.
