Night flying

Not edited captured lastnight.....about 10 mph wind...

Really enjoying this thread and all the fantastic night shots. Brought my P4P+ outside the other night not to fly but to play with camera settings. Too dark for the sensors on the bird and the RC announced that it was switching to ATTI mode. Not comfortable with that at night and not being able to see any obstructions. Something in a setting that I can change to keep it in P mode?.

It should stay in p-mode.... at night you won't have any sensors though unless you go into tripod mode you will have side sensors because infrared works in the dark.... but I have tried tripod mode in the dark and it was just a little janky for me so I didn't use it anymore
 
Thanks for the reply $gambino5. At the time I did check to make sure I hadn't accidentally toggled the switch and it was still on P. I've only tried in once so I will have to give it another try to see what happens, if we ever get Spring here in Chicago, LOL.
