I've bought a used P3A and the still shots are pretty blurry (see attached). The lens looks like it could use a clean and I've got some alcohol swabs. Are there any issues with using these on a lens?
And if there's anything else from the data on the image that might explain the poor quality, suggestions are welcome and appreciated. I'm very new to this!

That is not the result of the lens. Check all the settings in the camera. Pay particular attention to shutter speed and aperture .

I agree with Steve and David about shutter speed. As far as alcohol for lenses is fine but what you are using as a wipe makes a difference. I use Zeiss Lens cleaning wipes. 50 in a box and cheap at Walmart. They leave no streaks or any other type of residue, use one, then dispose, this way the wipe is always new.

Thanks for all this. It's really helpful. Am reading up on ISO, Aperture and Shutter speeds now.

It seems the blurry shot issue so far is solved, just would like to recommend you microfiber towels to clean the lens, no liquid required.
I carry all the time such a towel in my P3P bag, removes fingerprints and dust from my mobile device and keeps my eyeglasses clean.
