newbie can't read disk

I received my kit from Sonic Copters but the instruction DVD is formatted for a PC, and I have a MAC

Suggestions? And must I us a PC or MAC? I want to use my iPad mini. I'm pretty confused here.

Have you been to the DJI website as all info and app are there.
